The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2016 is scheduled for November 12-20, 2016. Every year, events and competitions are held in 160 countries to promote entrepreneurship to the next generation; and as you can imagine, the GEW is the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship.

Since its creation, more than 10 million people have participated in entrepreneurial related activities during the Week. This forum creates an avenue for young entrepreneurs to learn, get ideas and expose themselves to the whole world of opportunities and possibilities.

With the current level of unemployment in Nigeria, this week-long programme plays a critical role in encouraging young entrepreneurs, university students and the next generation of businessmen and women to consider what it takes to run a successful business. As the famous entrepreneur Richard Branson once said “Building a business is not rocket science; it’s about having a great idea and seeing it through with integrity.”

This year, the week kicks off with Walk for Entrepreneurship on Saturday, Nov 12, 2016 and continues through with various forums and events. Below is a list of activities during the week you could be a part of
