The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) is an annual programme of training, funding and mentoring, designed to empower the next generation of African entrepreneurs.
Now in its 3rd year, the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme was launched with the target of creating one million new jobs, and $10 billion in additional revenues for African economies. 2,000 entrepreneurs have already benefited from the programme over the past two years, and applications for the 2017 cohort of TEEP have now opened, with a further 1,000 entrepreneurs to be selected.
Selected entrepreneurs will participate in a 12-week intensive training course, with participants given US$5,000 in seed capital and mentorship. The programme is open to citizens and legal residents of all 54 African countries. Applications can be made by any for-profit business based in Africa in existence for less than three years, including new business ideas.
