The Africa Finance & Investment Forum (AFIF) is an annual meeting for African SMEs, investors, financiers, market specialists and policy makers. As part of its yearly program, the event features the AFIF Entrepreneurship Award which provides an opportunity for startups based in Africa to win US$10,000.
The AFIF 2017 will be held in Nairobi for the first time and will gather over 300 decision makers linked to Africa’s financial services and SME sector. This edition will focus on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Access to Alternative Finance in key sectors such as energy, water, ICT, health and agriculture.
Just like previous years, The AFIF Entrepreneurship Award 2017 will be sponsored by Rabobank Foundation and the winner, an existing African small-medium business, will receive US$10,000 cash prize, yearlong media promotion and free participation in the AFIF 2017.
