Seeking nominations for its Global Inclusion Awards 2018 is the Child & Youth Finance International (CYFI). The aim is to recognize and honor those who achieve greatness in furthering the Economic Citizenship of children and youth at the national, regional and international level.

To be awarded, you should demonstrate innovation in financial, social and livelihoods education, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurial support for children and youth.

This is a build up to the 7th annual Global Inclusion Awards 2018. The award has been slated to take place on 20th June. The CYFI Global Summit 2018 is hosted in partnership with the Banking Association of South Africa (BASA) located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Eligibility Criteria

Before you are awarded with the Global inclusion awards, there are some criteria that you must satisfy. Below are a summary of all of them.

Good standing: You must be of outstanding character and reputation.

Accountability: You must also demonstrate good governance and transparent financial management.

Creativity: Demonstration of creative use of resources to deliver innovative and flexible programs.

Partnership : Nominees must demonstrate that the spirit of effective collaboration and partnership is integrated into their activities.

Sustainability : Nominees must demonstrate how their work continues to impact young people going forward.

Track record : An important criteria is that nominees’ initiatives be embedded in the community.

Impact: Nominees must demonstrate how needs were addressed and demonstrate that desired outcomes and impact was achieved.

Outreach: You must demonstrate current and future outreach of initiatives.

Cost-effectiveness : Demonstration of an efficient use of funds is important.

There are also different categories of the award, some of which includes: CYFI Country Award, Global Money Week Award, Economic Citizenship Award, Outstanding Youth Economic, Citizenship Award, Youth Entrepreneurship Country Pioneer Award, Global Youth Entrepreneur Award and CYFI Champion Award.

Are you interested to clinch this award(s), do well to apply via the website. Deadline for application is set at 1st April, 2018.
